Last weekend I took a little vacation with my two sisters to Boston, Massachusetts where we explored the city. I had previously traveled there with my family when I was a child, but did not remember a whole lot.
We arrived there at 8am on Saturday morning and had an action packed day! After doing a bit of shopping, we took the subway to a couple different hot spots including Harvard University! For dinner, we went to the Cheers bar where we had a couple drinks and a delicious burger! Nothing like a good burger and fries!
On Sunday, we walked the Freedom Trail, which is outlined by painted and bricked red line that takes you two-and-a-half miles through Boston. What a great way to see the city’s bounty of historic landmarks! There are 16 stops along the trail including the Boston Common, old churches, graveyards, the Boston massacre site and the state house to name a few.
Beyond Boston’s beauty, I have to make a comment on the Boston males. Yippee!! Boy the boys are sure looking healthy!
What a great getaway place for the girls! I’d love to check it out in the summer when I can go to the beach!

Great posts in the chat forum! I was browsing myself and tried out some of the recipes that were posted. They were excellent, so I thought I'd share them with you!
Taco Salad:
1 cup of green pepper
1 cup of red pepper
1 cup of tomato
1 cup of onion
1 cup of cheese
1 cup of drained kidney beans
Frito chips, and dress it with Catalina salad dressing
This makes a big salad... but you can decrease the amount of stuff if you want to make a smaller one. Make sure you don't put the dressing on the salad until right before you eat, because the chips will go soggy. |
