Cruise-Holmes Rumors

Friends of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes defend their 6-month marriage stating that there is nothing wrong with their relationship. Katie gets very defensive when people talk trash about her family and has had enough.

Since being with Tom, Katie has become much more confident. This is evident in both pictures and how she addresses herself. Jada Smith, married to Will Smith says that the rumors are bull---- stating that Tom does not chain her up in his basement, that Katie is a strong woman.

Jada says that they are a very happy family and that the rumors circulating are not going to effect that bond.

The Queen visits the United States

The Queen arrived in the United States on Thursday where thousands of people greeted her. The visit, part of celebrations to mark the 400th anniversary of Jamestown settlement, the first permanent English colony in the United States marks the fourth time the Queen has visited the U.S since she became Queen in 1952.

When the Queen addressed the Virginia Assembly, she wanted to recognize the deep friendship that has existed between the two countries.

"It is one of the most durable international collaborations anywhere in the world at anytime in history. A friendship for which I certainly, in my lifetime, have had good cause to be thankful. That is a lasting legacy of Jamestown that is something worth commemorating and that is why I am pleased to be here today," she said.

The Queen also planned to meet privately with the survivors and families of last month's shooting at Virginia Tech. "My heart goes out to the students, friends and families of all those killed and to the many others who have been affected, some of whom I shall be meeting shortly. On behalf of the people of the United Kingdom, I extend my deepest sympathies at this time of such grief and sorrow," she said.

Wouldn't that be great to meet the Queen? I can't believe how much Helen Mirren looks like the queen in the film "The Queen".

Five Ways To Stay Fit This Summer

Many people complain that they do not have enough time in their day to exercise. Take advantage of ways that you can incorporate physical activity into your everyday life without having to join a fitness gym.

  1. Participate in outdoor activities such as gardening and raking. Doing these small actions will help boost your cardiovascular activity.
  2. Take the dog for a nice walk.
  3. Take a dive into your pool or a friends pool. Treading water requires much muscular work.
  4. Take your kids to the park.
  5. Go for a leisurely bike ride after dinner.

Doing one or two of these activities three times a week will help you stay fit!

MGM Mirage down four percent

One of the largest casino operators in Las Vegas, MGM Mirage shares disappointment after falling four percent in the first quarter - lower than expected. The financial reports revealed that net income increase 17 percent to $168.2 million, however the gambing revenue fell six percent.

They believe that part of this decrease is due to the National Basketball Associations All-Star game that was hosted in Las Vegas in February. Chief executive Terri Lanni said that fans that came to watch the game did not do much betting on the tables. Many of the people who attended stayed in their villas and suites.

On the contrary, first-quarter sales rose over eight percent to $1.93 billion.
