It's supposed to be another georgous weekend! Looking foward to the nice sunshine and being outside! I am going over to my parents house to help them open their pool, so I'm very happy that I can start working on my tan!

Mother's Day Joke
A young man was walking through a supermarket to pick up a few things when he noticed an old lady following him around. Thinking nothing of it, he ignored her and continued on. Finally he went to the checkout line, but she got in front of him.
"Pardon me," she said, "I'm sorry if my staring at you has made you feel uncomfortable. It's just that you look just like my son, who just died recently."
"I'm very sorry," replied the young man, "is there anything I can do for you?"
"Yes," she said, "As I'm leaving, can you say 'Good bye, Mother!' ? It would make me feel so much better."
"Sure," answered the young man.
As the old woman was leaving, he called out, "Goodbye, Mother!"
As he stepped up to the checkout counter, he saw that his total was $127.50.
"How can that be?" he asked, "I only purchased a few things!"
"Your mother said that you would pay for her," said the clerk.
$5,000 found in a pair of Goodwill pyjamas
The Goodwill was caught off guard when they found $5,000 and a note signed by only a first name. The person claims they had been saving the cash for a while and hoped that the person who found the cash would spend it wisely.
Goodwill has placed the money in the safe. If someone does not come to claim it, it will become a donation.
A Goodwill employee found the cash while doing her job sorting through the clothes. The 21-year-old single mother of three children said she could think of plenty of ways to spend the cash. As a good citizen, she took the money straight to her supervisor and proceeded to continue on with her shift.
"I'm an honest person," she said. "I was brought up that way. I'm always going to be that way."
The employee will be honored for her honesty, as it would have been very easy for her to take the cash. They plan to give her a few gift certificates and throw her a party!
Bobby Brown sues ex-wife Whitney Houston
Bobby Brown is suing his ex-wife Whitney Houston and is going to try and change their custody terms over their 14-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Bobby claims that he did not realize the importance of responding the Houston's divorce petition on time. At the time, he did not have a lot of money and was left pretty much homless and extremely emotional. Bobby also claims that Houston told him she would give him six months to respond to see if they could work things out.
When he learned that Houston wanted to fast-track the divorce and win custody of Bobbi Kristina, he says he was shocked and, "simply put, could not believe it."
Houston did win custody over their daughter and told the court that Bobby is unreliable and does not always do what he says.
Bobby would like shared custody, child support and spousal support.
A court date for Brown's new case has set for June 15. |
