Newest World Record
Legislators waved their arms in a snow-angel salute Wednesday to celebrate North Dakota recapturing a world record for those whimsical works of winter.
Guinness World Records has confirmed that the state holds the world record for the most snow angels made simultaneously in one place, said Marilyn Snyder, the education curator for the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
That's 8,962 snow angels, created Feb. 17 by people waving their arms while lying in the snow covering the Capitol grounds.
North Dakota's snow figure turnout bested the earlier record of 3,784, set at Michigan Technological University on Feb. 10, 2006.

Joke of the Week
A blackjack dealer and a player with a thirteen count in his hand were arguing about whether or not it was appropriate to tip the dealer.
The player said, "When I get bad cards, it's not the dealer's fault. Accordingly, when I get good cards, the dealer obviously had nothing to do with it so, why should I tip him?"
The dealer said, "When you eat out do you tip the waiter?" ... "Yes."
"Well then, he serves you food; I'm serving you cards, so you should tip me."
"Okay, but, the waiter gives me what I ask for. I'll take an eight!"

Boy do I ever love Fridays! I hope you all had a great week! I have been trying to get all caught up on my work so I can enjoy my weekend! I am heading to Toronto, Canada to visit a girlfriend that I met at a Bingo Conference a couple years ago! Since we met, we have become really good friends! It's great, because each time I go away, I meet new people! I'm flying into Toronto on Friday night and I get to stay at her condo for free! So it makes for a cheap weekend! We are heading into the "One of a Kind" show on Satudray so that will be fun too!
Saturday night the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing the Pittsburg Penguins and my friend tells me that the bars in Toronto are packed with fans! Although I am not a big hockey fan, I think it'll be really fun to go out and see what its like in a Canadian hockey town!

Sportingbet moves offshore
Sportingbet, the UK based gaming company has announced that it is moving the company's operations to the Channel Islands. In particular this is largely because of the uncertainty over the operational requirements due in September's Gambling Act 2005.
The board has chosen the Channel Islands because they have a more regulatory environment and plan to leave by September 1. Sportingbet, like many other companies have been forced to reorganize their structure since the US introduced the unlawful gaming enforcement act last year. The expect that the move will cost them £13.5 million.
In related news Bwin management dismissed a report by Austrian daily WirtschaftsBlatt, which claimed that Sportingbet could become a core shareholder in Bwin, as "pure speculation."
