I thought I'd share my exciting day with all of you.
I was walking home from the store and I saw a cat in the middle of the road. When I walked up to it, it was breathing very slowly (it must have been hit by a car). I had my husband run home to get something to put the poor thing in and we took her to the vet. They told use she had a broken leg and alot of cuts and scrapes, but she will be fine after it all heals. There was no tag on the cat so we are going to put up some flyers to see if anyone is missing her.
I think it's just aweful that someone would hit a cat and just leave it there. How would they feel if someone did that to their pet!

We never recieved a call about the cat (we named her pearl after the street we found her on.) However my Neice fell inlove with her so we have given her to them. She is getting stronger and she's well loved

Very true I bet alot of people wouldn't have made the choices you two did. I'm glad to hear that cat has a happy home now.

My sisters friend (when she was younger) found a squrrel and took care of it like a pet. I think it ended up bitting her so they set it free haha.
Not the same situation but I thought I'd share. |

I guess the owners wanted to lose their cat.
I had a friend who didn't want their cat anymore so they opened their door and let it rome free. They never saw it again.
Sounds mean but it's hard to get someone to take your pet from you sometimes. |
