I don't have pets currently but I am thinking about getting a pet soon. Anyone have any suggestions? I live alone and don't want to have a pet that takes too much responsibility.

If you are looking for something that is low maintenance, what about fish? I know that you don't walk them, and that they may be a bit boring, but they are nice to look at.

Fish are definatly not low maintenance, we'll maybe a goldfish. Pretty much any pet is hard work.

My Brother had a Rat..

Thoes are ugly pointless pets. Really what can you do with a rat? watch it sleep and eat? Oh well to each his own.

No a rat is not a pet. I think they are discusting animals!

If my child ever wanted a rat, that thing would be out the door so fast!!
