I have never gotten into the Oscars and awards shows that are Movie/Tv Show/Soap related. I enjoy the CMA's and AMA's just cause they entertain me alot more. I can watch my favorite bands perform instead of 2 hours of thanks you thank you thank you.

I like the bands too. I think award shows like the Oscars are really for the stars more then for the viewers. I guess the only benifit is that you can see which or the top movies so you know what to rent next.

When it comes to the big shows I'd rather read a celeb mag to see what they all wore rather then watch them walk the red carpet. I find it just alittle to boring.

I stay away from awards shows. I'm usually to busy to watch them and I know my girlfriend will just tell me who wins anyway.
