I just read this story and I had to post it. I think it's great that bingo Palace would donate $1,000 to the American Cancer Society in memory of one of their players. It really shows how much their players mean to them.
June 8, 2006 -- The www.BingoPalace.com community was saddened to learn Nancy Faulkner, one of the original members from 1999, recently lost her battle with breast cancer. Nancy, who played under the alias «Snuffy», was a well liked member of the www.BingoPalace.com online bingo community. Nancy passed away after battling breast cancer for 3 years.
In her memory, www.BingoPalace.com has donated $1,000 to the American Cancer Society and her family has requested her remaining account balance of $55 be donated as well. Nancy will be greatly missed among her online bingo friends. |

Aww that's really sweet of them. It's must have been really hard for the players to lose her and I bet donating helped them to feel like they could help others like her. I really like it when sites go out of their way like that for their players. It show's that they arn't all about money.

I was playing on that site when it all happened. I didn't know the lady but the players and the site were realy there for her family. It's nice to see a site join together so much for the lose of another player.

| It must be a very hard thing to go through even for players on a site when someone they have gotten to know passes away. Even though you don't see that person you can get pretty close to them talking playing bingo every day. |
