Hey Everyone,
I thought I would see if we could get some chats going about good BBQ recipes. Now that the weather is getting nice, I've been trying lots of new stuff on the BBQ.
One thing that I recommend EVERYONE to try is this:
- Get a banana and slice it down the middle (with the peel on)
- Get a caramilk chocolate bar and put it in the slit
- Wrap it in tinfoil and bake on the BBQ for about 5-10 minutes (until the banana gets squishy)
- Take it off and eat it with a spoon.
It'll just melt in your mouth. Enjoy, and let me know when you try it! |

I really like cooking veggies on the BBQ. I tried asparagus last weekend and it was delicious! I also like broccoli, carrots, potatoes, peppers and onion all together. Takes so much better than in the oven sometimes! I love this time of year when it's nice enough to BBQ!!

I really like your idea about smoking your meat, I'm always looking for different ways to cook meat. I'm going to try smoking with cedar. I will let you know how it turned out.. Thanks

The only meats that I smoke are streak and chicken, you should try both and see which one you like the best.

anybody got a surefire formula for cooking ribs on the bbq? I did some this weekend using a homemade maple bbq sauce - the sauce was great, but the ribs turned out a little tough.

Thanks Judge, the smoking tip turned out great. I found that smoking for about 30 to 45 minutes i got the best results.
