PRESS RELEASE (September 2006) - September 1st 2006 saw CM of the Year.com (http://www.cmoftheyear.com), sister site of WhichBingo.com, launch its eagerly awaited stand alone UK CM vote. From September 2006, bingo players will be able, for the first time, to vote for favorite UK CM Team in a UK only monthly poll.
The popularity of online bingo in the UK has gone through the roof recently, with in excess of 100 sites now available to British Bingo fans. The evidence of this can be seen in recent voting trends registered at CM of the Year.com (http://www.cmoftheyear.com); during July 2006 a whopping 26% of the month’s votes were for UK CM Teams! Thus the natural progression was to separate the US and UK votes. Now votes for US and UK Teams will be collated independently.
Each week players will be able to view a separate update for both the US and UK vote to see how their favorite bingo site is doing. Results will be announced at the end of the month and there will be a winner of both votes. Both the winning US and UK winning team will receive the coveted ‘CM of the Month’ award.
CM of the Year.com (http://www.cmoftheyear.com) has been running its monthly and annual award since 2001. It is the web’s first ever CM vote and the Internet’s only CM-focused website. CM of the Year.com (http://www.cmoftheyear.com) embraces the community spirit of online bingo and recognizes all of the hard work done by CMs.
“CM of the Year began as a section of the Which Bingo (http://www.whichbingo.com) site where players could go and vote for their favorite CMs,” said Jemima from CM of the Year.com.
