| I heard it was because she was calling in for shifts and wanted out of her contract, so that was an easy way to let her go off the show |

Yeah I heard that too, but she could have just left the show like her dad did. They could have just put her on the plane and that be it... why did they have to end it like that??

Does anyone know if there is going to be another season?
I'm not sure if I'd like it...mind you it would be pretty eventful with Marissa's sister being one of the major people in it |

I watch the OC religiously, and for some reason I feel like Marissa isn't dead. Remember when Tray didn't die at the end of the last season? For some reason I feel like they're going to put a twist on the story
Maybe she will remain alive and then will move away with her dad or something... who knows! |

| I just checked on their website and it appears that there is going to be another season in the fall... so who knows what they will do! |

I heard in an article that the OC which for the first three seasons had 25 eposides, are only having 16 this week.
It's going to start after the world series are over and then end in February. |

| Ya but they said that it might not be good for the show because that allows another show to come in as a "trial" before the summer which may result in the OC ending. |
